Kanambo Hunting offers hunters and wildlife enthusiasts from all over the world the opportunity to hunt or photograph wild, free ranging game roaming across the 420,000 hectare Kalkfeld Conservation Area in northern Namibia’s Otjiwarongo region.
One of Southern Africa’s finest hunting opportunities
Kanambo is a 16,000 hectare (about 40,000 acres) working cattle farm situated on the north east edge of Namibia’s Kalkfeld Conservancy, which spans 420,000 hectares (1,037 million acres). We are proud of its status as one of the few remaining places in Southern Africa where you can hunt wild, free-ranging game. At Kanambo, you can enjoy a variety of types or styles of hunts with your professional hunting guide Dolf Potgieter. Hunters and wildlife enthusiasts of all levels of experience and skill are welcome.
Wilderness activities for the whole family
If you bring the family, Kanambo also offers a range of activities to help everyone enjoy the fauna, flora, and beauty of the Namibian wilderness. In addition to guided nature walks from the incredibly knowledgeable Peter Beckers, other activities on the farm include game drives, horse riding through the veld, bird watching, hiking and camera hunting for those who would like to exchange their rifle for a camera.
Stay at our tented camp and guesthouse
We offer tented accommodation at our permanent tented camp, located in the Eisenberg mountains on the farm. You can also stay in comfortable farm-style accommodation at our guesthouse, where you will be hosted by the farm’s owners, Peter and Doris Beckers.
Start planning your trip
Get in touch with us for hunting prices, bookings, and assistance in planning your trip to Kanambo. Given Namibia’s strict hunting quotas, we highly recommend planning your trip at least 3 months in advance. If you want to hunt leopard or other exotic game, we recommend you book at least a year in advance.
