Huntable Game
Kanambo is home to a wide variety of free-ranging game, offering hunters the chance to pursue Namibia’s iconic species:

- Jackal, Baboon, Steinbuck, Duiker, Warthog, Hartebeest, Oryx / Gemsbuck, Springbuck, Blesbuck, Impala, Caracal, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Kudu, Giraffe, Cheetah, Waterbuck, Hartmann’s Zebra, Burchell’s Zebra, Eland Bull, Eland Cow, Damara Dik-Dik
On Request (Restricted / Advanced Booking Recommended):
- Sable, Nyala, Roan, Klipspringer, Spotted and Brown Hyena
Leopard Hunts:
Leopard hunting is highly restricted in Namibia, with only 150 permits issued per year. At Kanambo, leopard hunts require a minimum 10-day booking and success is not guaranteed — these intelligent animals often evade even the most experienced hunters. Early planning is essential; bookings should be made at least one year in advance.
